Apple Achieving Brand Award as Most Valuable Brands and Top Second World After Coca Cola
Other technology companies seem to have learned from marketing strategy by Apple. Having previously managed to become the highest valued technology company, Apple is now hailed as the world’s second leading brand in the Coca Cola.
The award was given by the newly launched Interbrand Best Global Brands 2012 list. In the report, Interbrand suggests that Apple has increased the value of branding is very fast which is equal to 129 percent with a total of $ 76.6 billion USD. While Coca Cola who sat in the first rank ‘only’ brand value has increased by 8 percent to the $ 77.8 billion USD.
With the tremendous positive trend is, no wonder that the company is now led by Tim Cook is going to beat Coca Cola. And what about the other technology companies, such as Google or Microsoft?
The two companies are each located on the fourth and fifth. According to the Interbrand, Google’s brand value increased by 26 percent to $ 69,726 billion USD, while Microsoft’s has decreased by 2 percent.
A significant increase was also obtained Samsung. Android smartphone manufacturer in the world’s biggest brand value increased by 40 percent and ranks ninth sitting under Intel. The opposite happened to Nokia. The company is based in Finland has decreased by 16 percent and sits at number 19.
