Sculley said he had a great ability to be able to save BlackBerry from the deteriorating conditions of late. And armed with his experience as CEO at Apple, he was confident that he could solve the problems faced by BlackBerry .
BlackBerry, the company thinks is a potential that has not been maximized. And to maximize the potential, Sculley said that BlackBerry needed the right person, who has the experience. Sculley also reportedly did explore the possibility of a bid.
Currently it is rumored there are several parties interested in the Canadian company. But among the many, the BlackBerry has received an offer from Fairfax Financial Holdings. Other parties interested in the rumored BlackBerry include Lenovo, Google and Cisco.
