Research In Motion (RIM) decided to no longer produce the 16GB version of the BlackBerry Playbook. BlackBerry smartphone is mentioned only will sell the remaining 16GB Playbook.
The 32GB and 64GB versions, as quoted from TechRadar, Friday (06/08/2012), will still be available and RIM will continue to produce it. What is the reason for RIM to stop production of the 16GB Playbook?
RIM claims the reason his company is issuing this decision in order to give more value to consumers. According to this Canadian company, users can get more value with a larger capacity Playbook.
Previously it was rumored that the BlackBerry Playbook will be discontinued, but RIM immediately clarify. RIM is committed to continue to develop products of this tablet.
RIM is also reportedly preparing the successor to the BlackBerry Playbook. In addition to the more advanced specification, these products are also claimed to have richer connectivity than ever before.
