Research In Motion provides the lure for game developers to post applications into OS Blackberry 10 games that will slide early 2013. Through online event Got Game Port-a-Thon which began on 16 November 2012 and lasted for 36 hours RIM will give money and gifts to the developers who have developed applications on the Blackberry 10 platform .
Here’s “the lure” of RIM:
- For 1 or 2 applications approved game gets 100 USD per application
- For 2 to 5 gaming applications approved – 100 USD per application and got a Blackberry Playbook tablet
- For 5 to 10 gaming applications approved – 100 USD per application, 1 Blackberry Playbook tablet and 1 Dev Alpha Device (for the first 100 winners only)
- More than 10, 100 USD per application received 1 tablet Blackberry Playbook and 1 Dev Alpha Device (for the first 100 winners only) and a package trip to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco on 25-29 March 2013
How? Interested? Actually, if calculated from the value of the gift is not quite as “tantalizing”, let’s hope the show is successful in attracting many developers so that RIM can offer a lot of games in the store at the time the application was launched Blackberry 10.
